1) ‘Minecraft’ refers to the game in general. We only offer ‘Minecraft Java Edition’ servers. ‘Minecraft’ has become synonymous with the new ‘Bedrock Edition’ written in C++. The two versions ARE NOT compatible. Please check the image to the left for more information.
2) Since the release of Minecraft Java Edition 1.13, we have noticed an increase in the amount of RAM required. For a Minecraft Java Edition 1.14 and above server, we recommend you start with at least 2GB of RAM. For Spigot and CraftBukkit distributions we recommend nothing less than 2GB,

PLEASE NOTE: When a new version of Minecraft Java Edition is released, variations such as Craftbukit and Spigot typically take a little longer to be released as they are based on the ‘vanilla’ release. We will make them available as soon as we can.

Why TRUgaming Servers?
The best servers on the market, period.
We founded TRUgaming after getting fed up with all the crap in the server hosting industry. Foreign technical support, slow response times, and shady sales tactics are just a few of its many problems.
At TRUgaming, we believe that our customers deserve the very best server hosting experience available. So no, we won’t tell you that our servers are “DDOS protected” when you choose a premium option because guess what? DDOS protection is just a buzzword that salespeople use to scare customers into paying more money. Any server company with a hint of integrity should offer this service by default, not as a premium scare tactic.
That’s why we promise that every TRUgaming server is protected from DDOS, and other similar threats. With a TRUserver, you have peace of mind that your server is safe and secure.
Not only that, you’ll also get unlimited technical support from gamers that play Minecraft, and know what you’re talking about when you need support. Tried to install TooManyItems, only to have your top left button disappear? We’ve been there. It sucks. We can help.
Brand integrity and top-of-the-line support are just a few reasons we take pride in TRUgaming servers. Still not convinced? Check out the reviews from our customers below.

“TRUgaming is simply one of the best server hosting companies I’ve worked with. They have great plans, host a variety of games, and even add in servers for games their community asks for. I get extremely fast support and my servers are almost never down. If they do go down for basic maintenance I am informed beforehand so I can save any changes. If you are looking for inexpensive, quality servers look no further than TRU!”

TRUgaming, LLC has been a great company to work with so far. Setup of my ARK server was very easy and very quick. There were a couple of questions I had but Jake answered them quickly and got me set up with no issues. They always inform of any maintenance or issues well in advance so that I can plan ahead. The TRU team definitely makes keeping a YouTube channel active very easy with amazing servers and great customer service.

It’s like 3D Legos, man. Wait. Are Legos already 3D?
Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that has no specific goals for the player to accomplish, allowing players a great amount of freedom in choosing how to play the game. However, there is an achievement system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the option to play in third person mode. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and placing blocks. The game world consists of rough 3D objects—mainly cubes—arranged in a fixed grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move freely across the world, objects can only be placed at fixed locations on the grid. Players can gather these material blocks and place them elsewhere, thus allowing for various constructions. Furthermore, players can interact with each other’s creations – for better or worse.
