They will be written to your server configuration files, IMMEDIATELY.
  • Be careful about changing settings, if you chose to use defaults for anything, they may be removed from the servers settings file, because they are default.

Wiping Your Server

To wipe your server, the process is very simple.

  1. Stop.png your server
  2. Using the File Manager, navigate to the ConanSandbox\Saved folder
  3. Delete or rename the game.db file.
  4. Start.png your server

This will recreate the game.db file. You can verify this through the File Manager, check that the game.db file is there and the date/time stamp is recent.

Adding Mods

Manually Adding Mods

Server side
To add mods to your server, you need to put the mod files (<mod name>.pak) in "ConanSandbox/Mods/"
If it does not exist you can create it using the File Manager
You can copy these files from your local PC to the server using a FTP client or the File Manager
Next add the mod name to the modlist.txt file, using the names of the files you just uploaded, one per line like this:
Modlist.png

If you already have all the mods you want on your local PC, you can copy the modlist.txt file on your local PC from "<game folder>/ConanSandbox/Mods/modlist.txt" to
"ConanSandbox/Mods/modlist.txt".

Removing Mods

Removing a mod from the server and using the same database may cause issues.
When you remove a mod, those mods leave a lot of garbage behind, which the game does not know what to do with.
This can cause undesired effects. Removing a mod is sometimes paired with wiping the database clean for a fresh install of the server.
