Wiping Your Server
To wipe your server, the process is very simple.
- your server
- Using the File Manager, navigate to the ConanSandbox\Saved folder
- Delete or rename the game.db file.
- your server
This will recreate the game.db file. You can verify this through the File Manager, check that the game.db file is there and the date/time stamp is recent.
Note: Client side To join a server with mods, you must first have the same mods the server is running, with the same load order. When joining a server, you will get a message box telling you which mods you are missing. You cannot connect to the server unless you have those mods installed and activated.
To add mods to your server, you need to put the mod files (<mod name>.pak) in "ConanSandbox/Mods/"
You can copy these files from your local PC to the server using a FTP client or the File Manager
Next add the mod name to the modlist.txt file, using the names of the files you just uploaded, one per line like this:
If you already have all the mods you want on your local PC, you can copy the modlist.txt file on your local PC from "<game folder>/ConanSandbox/Mods/modlist.txt" to
Removing a mod from the server and using the same database may cause issues.
When you remove a mod, those mods leave a lot of garbage behind, which the game does not know what to do with.
This can cause undesired effects. Removing a mod is sometimes paired with wiping the database clean for a fresh start.
