README FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!
    The Steam Workshop option CAN ONLY BE USED to MANAGE mods that IT HAS ADDED!!!!!!!!
    It CANNOT manage exiting mods.  If you want to use the Steam Workshop option to manage ALL the mods on your server
    you will need to DELETE the existing mod .pak file(s) from your server and add them back using Steam Workshop option.

Using the Steam Workshop Option

On the Service Information tab there is a NEW icon labeled Steam Workshop

This will allow you to manage mods from the Steam Workshop associated with your game.

When you click on on the Steam Workshop link it will go out to Steam and locate the workshop mods assoicated with your game and build a list:

You have several filtering options top choose from above the available mods:

Sort By Over Time Period Content Type
  • Most Popular
  • Most Recent
  • Most Subscribed
  • One Week
  • Three Months
  • Six Months
  • One Year
  • All Time
  • All Content - Everything in the workshop associated with the game
  • Installed Content - list of mods you have currently installed , using the Steam Workshop option.
    • NOTE: This will not include mods you have already manually installed on your server
  • Updatable Content- list of mods you have currently installed , using the Steam Workshop option, that have an update pending.
    • NOTE: This will not include mods you have already manually installed on your server

IMPORTANT NOTES:

IMPORTANT NOTES:
   INSTALL: 
    The Steam Workshop option:
      Is NOT aware of any mods you have already installed.
      Will add the .pak file name to the modlist.txt file on yoru server
      
    UNINSTALL:
    The Steam Workshop option:
      Will delete the mod .pak from your server
      Will delete update the modlist.txt file your server
      
    UPDATE:
    The Steam Workshop option:
      When doing an UPDATE, it will DELETE the mod file from your server and install a new copy
        Basically when it does an update, it performs a DELETION and then an INSTALLATION

Installing A Mod

  1. Stop your server.
  2. Click on the Steam Workshop icon from the Service Information tab.
  3. Locate the mod you want to install.

  4. Your options are:

    Click on the Install button. This will start the installation process.
    A window will open up showing you the progress of the installation.

    NOTE: If you have already manually installed the mod on your server you will get the following message:

    Click on the 'X' in the top tight of the window as indicated by the Red Arrow.
    SOLUTION:
  5. Once Installed you can change your Steam Workshop / Content Type: filter to Installed Content to verify the mod is installed.

  6. Start your server back up


  • NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SUBSCRIBED TO THE MOD, THIS DOES NOT SUBSCRIBE YOU TO THE MOD IN THE STEAM WORKSHOP.
    YOU STILL NEED TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE MOD FOR IT TO BE AVAILABLE ON YOUR PC.

Uninstall A Mod

  1. Stop your server
  2. Click on the Steam Workshop icon from the Service Information tab
  3. Change your Steam Workshop / Content Type: filter to Installed Content to view the list of installed mods.

  4. Click on the Uninstall button.
    1. This will open a window showing the uninstall process and will close once complete

  5. Checking your Steam Workshop / Installed Content will show the mod is gone

  6. Start your server and verify your log files for errors.

Updating A Mod

  1. Stop your server
  2. Click on the Steam Workshop icon from the Service Information tab
  3. Change your Steam Workshop / Content Type: filter to Updatable Content to view the list of installed mods that can be updated.
  4. NOTE: WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR MODS TO TEST THIS ON.
    AS SOON AS WE CAN WE WILL UPDATE THIS SECTION.
  5. Start your server and verify your log files for errors.

Viewing Mod Details

  1. Click on the Steam Workshop icon from the Service Information tab
  2. Locate the mod you want to view the details on.

  3. Click on the Details button
    This will open a new browser window to the Steam workshop page for the mod you selected

    NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SUBSCRIBED TO THE MOD, THIS DOES NOT SUBSCRIBE YOU TO THE MOD.
    YOU STILL NEED TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE MOD FOR IT TO BE AVAILABLE ON YOUR PC'
